I am a Nelson artist who has been painting on my own hand made canvases for the past 18 years. I have enjoyed painting on commission for many lovely people and have my art in collections world wide.

The message of my art is to remind people to look outside their worries and realize the beauty around us.

 

I love to paint and I show this in my art with heavy brush strokes and excessive use of paint. I like to let the paintings develop themselves, my hand reaches for  colour instinctively, because there are no rules.

​

For me, 'To paint is to play'.

 

When I think about something that inspires me, I want to create it, stylized and  full of the natural imperfections of life and the colour my mind sees.
